A born and raised Beijing-er, Nina moved to California - UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism to hone her skill in multimedia storytelling. Passionate about tech, she always spend all her savings buying shiny new gadgets - 360 camera, funky fisheye lens and one day a drone - a Phantom 3 with pink stickers! Ski trip, beach afternoon, weekend hike, all documented from the air. Equipped with advanced multimedia skills from UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, she has a natural curiosity about creating meaningful and engaging interactive media. Passionate about technology innovation and multimedia storytelling, she enjoys taking on the challenge of helping early stage technologies enter the world.
As the Social Media Manager for Wing, Alphabet's autonomous drone delivery project, she utilizes her broad knowledge of social graphics, visual effects, short-form video, animated GIFs and digital illustrations to bring Wing's brand to life on social. Prior to Wing, she was part of the digital marketing team in DJI for the 3 years, together with Microsoft, AJ+ and NBC Bay Area.

Chasing Lithium is a multimedia package investigating the environmental, human, and political issues behind the mining, manufacturing, and waste of lithium-ion batterie. Using short videos, informative graphics, photographs and text, it explores the hidden costs behind the 21st century’s most valuable natural resource by linking the brine mines of Bolivia, to research labs in the US and the toxic landfills of China.
